Ministers of the Intergovernmental Group of Twenty-Four on International Monetary Affairs held their fifty-fifth Meeting in Washington, D.C., on September 28, 1996. Mr. Qazi Alimullah, Deputy Chairman of the Planning Commission of Pakistan, was in the Chair, with Mr. Antonio Casas-González of Venezuela as First Vice-Chairman, and Mr. Ali Hamdi of Algeria as Second Vice-Chairman.
